Nuova Cives is a mining
company dealing in the exploitation, processing and trading of industrial
minerals; the Mining Concession, for Olivine and Magnesite, mnaged by Nuova
Cives, called "Bric Carlevā", is located among the municipalities of
Castellamonte, Vidracco and Baldissero Canavese in the North of Italy 35 Km far
from Torino.
The Deposit has on outcrop area of more than 75 kmē containing reserves over
100 mill. tons of fresh rocks.
Founded in 1964, but already operative since the early fifties as I.M.S., Cives
has developed a particular manufacturing process of the peridotite rocks, to
obtain differents ranges of products rich in Olivine.

Minerals are mined with an open cut method, dumped to the close plant,
crushed, milled, screened, cleaned with a complex suction system and stored in
several sizes in silos for packing or direct delivery Nuova Cives is able to
produce every size: lumps and grovels, grains, sands, fine and micronised fiours. |
